Questions about the mobile app
What works without signal?
Nearly everything an inspector does: listing and filling in assignments, moving them between statuses, taking photos, signing, and adding, editing or removing records. Changes are kept on the phone and sync when there is signal.
What happens if two people change the same thing?
The app compares field by field. If the web changed a field after the phone's edit was based on it, the inspector sees the other value and who changed it, and chooses which to keep.
Which phones does it run on?
iOS and Android.
Does the app carry our branding?
Yes. Once someone signs in to your workspace, the app uses your colours, theme and logo.
Is the data on the phone secure?
It is encrypted. What the app keeps for offline use is stored in an encrypted database on the device.
